Barton-Knott Travel has been associated with Rugby Travel for 30 years; in the early days we used to charter whole trains to take supporters to Twickenham, Cardiff, Edinburgh for various finals be it for the John Player Cup Final or Pilkington Cup Final or a European Final. First and Standard Class seating and bar and catering services all combined to make a great Rugby day out.
Nowadays we enjoy making travel and hotel arrangements for Club Supporters to some of the wonderful Rugby venues such as Toulon, Galway, Paris and Parma. Years ago we used to drive to venues which were new to the European competition such as Auch and Montauban to research the hotels and find the Irish bar but these Clubs come and go and the existing Clubs are now on a well beaten path. We have enjoyed some great packages with Team, sponsors and supporters together on flights to the matches; Newcastle Falcons travelled with us to Montpellier on our Jet2 chartered aircraft this season for instance and this provided an unrivalled experience for Club supporters to mingle with their sporting heroes.
For the new season 2019/20 we are running packages to the Italy/England fixture in Rome offering flights, accommodation and match tickets for what is always a great weekend trip. Full details will be posted shortly.
